First Green Drinks event in Poulsbo on tap in March

The Green Drinks trend is coming to Poulsbo. The community’s first networking event tied to business and environmental sustainability will be held March 12, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the John L. Scott real estate office, 19723 Tenth Ave.

There is no political agenda at monthly Green Drinks gatherings, which offer food and drink along with networking for fun and connection. There are no long, formal presentations, but each session includes a 10-minute talk on the green topic of the month.

Also, there is a designated nonprofit each month that benefits from the event. At the March event in Poulsbo, attendees are asked to bring non-perishable donations for the North Kitsap Fishline food bank.

There is a $10 admission, payable in cash at the door, to cover catering costs and a contribution to NK Fishline. Anyone planning to attend is asked to RSVP by March 7 to poulsbogreendrinks.com.
