Each month, 800,000 people turn 65, according to a new National Institute on Aging report. This new publication predicts that the pace of global aging will continue well into the 21st century. During the 20th century, the number of persons in the United States under age 65 has tripled. While at the same time, the number aged 65 or over has jumped by a factor of 11!
